A soundtrack for Fifty Shades Darker has been recorded by pop stars Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik. This came as a sweet surprise for their fans, as Swift announced the release of the track through social media. I don’t wanna live forever is Swift’s first release post her multi-million album 1989.
Taylor Swift’s Instagram post providing a sneak-peak of the soundtrack has over 5 million views, whereas her tweet was shared over 15,000 times within an hour.
Zayn, who has been pretty active in 2016 with his debut solo album Mind Of Mine, took to social media as well for the soundtrack’s announcement.
Billboard reports that the song was written by Swift, Sam Dew and Jack Antonoff (who produced the track) especially for the film featuring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson. This is Swift’s first release as a vocalist in 2016.
Fifty Shades Darker, set to release on 10 February 2017, is the sequel of Fifty Shades Of Grey, which released last year. The promising soundtrack I don’t wanna live forever is currently available only on iTunes and Apple Music.
