The new year began with a rather rare occurrence, that of a typo in a tweet by Shashi Tharoor! It came just a couple of months after the Congress MP wrote “thang Hoog hats” instead of “than ghoonghats” while tweeting about the Padmavati controversy.

In the age of auto-correct, typos are a normal and recurrent. However, while it is normal for us humble beings to fumble every now and then, a grammatical error from Tharoor... well, let’s just say it was a hard-digest for Twitterati.
