Sacred Games and Netflix India have escalated the level of anticipation for fans across the internet. After months of waiting, the viewers have finally received some relief from the TV show’s side in the form of a teaser.
Owing to the cliffhanger, the series has a lot of scope for fan theories and speculations. However, the ambiguity does not seem to end at any point. This season has been awaited since more than 10 months now, after the episodes were binge-watched in June, 2018.
As seen in this 25 seconds-long-video, the show has revealed their cast for the upcoming season. New faces to join the second season are Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey.
The video also indicates towards the character of Guruji playing a role that seems to be very important to the storyline. This role is played by Pankaj Tripathi and he is seen in a sage-like appearance in the end of the video.
So now is the time for all of you to speculate. Will everybody die and Trivedi survive? Will Sartaj Singh be able to single-handedly save Mumbai? What twist will the new cast bring with themselves? What happened to Gaitonde? Oh wait. Is he GOD?
The release date for season 2 has not been officially confirmed yet.
