New Lavender 100 Rupee Note Has Twitterati Amused     

Twitter users can’t help but take a dig at the lavender colour of the new Rs 100 note.

On Thursday, 19 July, The Reserve Bank of India revealed the new look of the Rs 100 currency note.

The new note, in a bright lavender colour, will soon make its way into banks. A motif of Rani ki Vav – a UNESCO heritage site in Gujarat – will be featured on the reverse side of the note.
