Republicans and conservative Hindus in the US had a baby and they are calling Bollywood stars to celebrate the event – just typical Indian shenanigans. Confused? So are we.
The Republican Hindu Coalition, which is based in New Jersey, has released the details for a star-studded Charity event, and people are not pleased.
Chicago-based Shalabh “Shalli” Kumar, the Indian-American supporter of Trump, heads the Republican Hindu Coalition.
He has also said he will raise $2 million to the Trump Victory Fund, and him and his family have already donated $1.1 million, making him the 14-largest donor to the real estate tycoon’s campaign.
Called “Humanity United Against Terror”, the charity event is for the benefit of Kashmiri Pandits and Hindu refugees. Celebrities like Shahid Kapoor, Prabhu Deva, Ameesha Patel, Malaika Arora Khan are slated to perform at the 24 September event.
The “family extravaganza” will also see the Republican Presidential nominee making a speech.
Clearly those supporting him are happy about the event.
While it is still not clear if the celebrities will actually be in attendance, Ameesha Patel has issued a clarification.
