On an uneventful Sunday morning, the desi Internet sighed collectively when scrolling through their Insta feed.
The reason?

Yep. You saw it right.
MS Dhoni won our hearts by this sweet gesture of helping his wife with her shoes.
As we swipe through the photos that show him kneeling down and very attentively tying the buckle of Sakshi Dhoni’s very fancy looking high heel peep toes, we can only go ‘awww’.
Before you jump the gun, dear reader, we agree that it’s not novel for a boyfriend or a husband to help out their partner in this way. But we can’t help fawn over this very casual and perhaps everyday act; it is just too precious.
But others may disagree.
Few fans seemed to be disappointed to find their favourite cricketer literally at his wife’s feet.
“We are disappointed to find such photos of the man we respect so much in the world of cricket. We hope that you won’t make a man of his stature do such shameful things (sic).”
And then there were those who called this a publicity stunt.
