In the wee hours of Wednesday morning, a man named Prabhakar S Jha asked Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu for assistance with getting diapers for his daughter during a train journey.
The Rail Ministry promptly responded to the tweet, offering adequate help.
The Twitterati had lots to say about the exchange as several users began trolling Jha.
The Indian Railways have played the Good Samaritan in the past when it helped a paralysed man travelling to Butati Dham for treatment. Pankaj Jain, a businessman and a JDS youth wing member from Karnataka, requested Ministry of Railways on Twitter to halt the train for more than three minutes and also arrange for a wheelchair for his father.
Replying to Jain’s plea, the train not only halted for more than ten minutes, a wheelchair was also arranged for the patient. Jain thanked profusely later for the help provided.
