While you lazed around on the Holi weekend, an Indian navy sailboat with an all-women crew is just days away from having circumnavigated the globe!

On 2 March, the six-member (AGAIN, ALL WOMEN) crew on board the INSV Tarini sailed into Cape Town in South Africa, the last port of its call before its return to the port of Goa, from where they left on 10 September.

Cape Town, can you handle this?

Since the boat’s arrival in Cape Town coincided with the festival of Holi, the sailors were given a warm welcome from the Indian diaspora. Students, Indian diplomats and other diaspora members played Holi with the sailors along with Cape Town Mayor Patricia de Lille, who tweeted that the sailors are an inspiration to women worldwide.

We are just wondering, what’s brighter in this frame: the Holi colors or the INSV Tarini sailors?
