Here’s How Twitter Reacted to PM Modi’s Independence Day Speech

PM Modi’s fifth and last Independence Day speech before the 2019 general elections incited a lot of reactions.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi kicked off the 72nd Independence Day Celebrations on Wednesday, 15 August by addressing the nation from the historic Red Fort in New Delhi.

From development, infrastructure, electrification and healthcare initiatives to women's issues, corruption and regional conflicts, Prime Minister Modi covered quite a few issues.

In his fifth and last Independence Day speech before the 2019 general elections, PM Modi announced a number of initiatives, lauded the implementation of GST among other reforms and touched issues such as black Money, Triple Talaq and Kashmir.

The 90 minute speech incited a lot of Twitter reactions.
