Manchester United’s midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger and former world number one tennis player Ana Ivanovic got married in Venice on Tuesday, according to Mirror. The couple, who had started dating in 2014, tied the knot in the Venice City Hall.
The footballer wore a navy blue two-piece suit and the tennis player sported a white wedding dress for the wedding.
After the ceremony, the couple made their way to a boat and and sailed away.
According to German media, the friends and family of the media had no idea about the venue of the wedding. They were asked to arrive at the Munich airport before being taken to Venice in a private jet.
