#IMarchWithLinda: The Muslim Woman Who Co-Chaired Women’s March

Linda Sarsour, co-chair of the Women’s March in Washington was targeted by Islamophobes for her role in the march.

Linda Sarsour, a Palestinian-American from Brooklyn, co-chaired the Women’s March in Washington on 21 January, a day after President Trump’s inauguration. She’s also the executive director of the Arab American Association of New York. She’s been working for progressive causes for more than a decade now.

However, post the Women’s March that saw scores of women take to the streets, Linda was targeted with hate for her role in the march. She responded to the Islamophobes with this Facebook post:
