After criticising MS Dhoni during the IPL, industrialist Harsh Goenka has now taken a dig at Virat Kohli in his latest Twitter post.
Rising Pune Supergiant owner Sanjiv Goenka’s brother had been slammed on social media for saying that newly-appointed captain Steve Smith had “overshadowed” Dhoni by his performance.
Goenka, on Tuesday, tweeted a list of ‘qualifications’ needed for the post of India’s head coach – one of which was to ‘be obedient to BCCI and the Indian cricket captain’.
The BCCI re-opened the applications for India team’s head coach post after Anil Kumble stepped down due to ‘untenable’ differences with skipper Virat Kohli.
Hours after resigning, Anil Kumble revealed on his 21 June resignation letter that he had said that Kohli had "reservations" about his coaching style and with him continuing as the coach of the team.
