VJ Hoezaay Demonstrates How To ‘Inadvertently’ Code Something

Google had explained that it had inadvertently coded the UIDAI’s number in Android phones.

If the fact that certain smartphones in India has UIDAI’s number auto-saved isn’t shocking enough, Google’s explanation for the same will definitely floor you.

Internal review revealed that in 2014, the then UIDAI helpline number and the 112 distress helpline number were inadvertently coded into the SetUp wizard of the Android release given to OEMs for use in India and has remained there since.

“Inadvertently”, or in other words, by accident.

Naturally, people took to the Internet to ask their tech savvy friends – how on earth do you write several lines of codes accidentally?

What would be MUCH more interesting would be to calculate how much time it takes to "inadvertently code" the UIDAI's number into a 2014 setup file that's still loading the OS in 2018.

Yes, I had the #UIDAI too on my OP6 contacts. Deleted it. Google had accepted that it 'inadvertently' put by OEMs in Android devices. But Apple devices having it is wierd. Hope this puzzle will be solved and appropriate action would be taken. pic.twitter.com/qmTqiqZiUa
