One of the four people arrested for leaking season 7’s episode 4 may have done so in order to please his girlfriend.
We don’t quite know what transpired in his heart, but here’s a quick rundown.
Four people suspected of leaking HBO’s Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 4, were reportedly arrested on 14 August.
Investigations led by Mumbai's cyber police brought to light that Alok Sharma, one of the accused, illegally accessed the show before release and passed it on to his girlfriend.
Curiousity and suspected love are being deemed as the reasons behind the leak.
Among the four, Bhaskar Joshi, Alok Sharma and Abhishek Ghadiyal are current employees of Prime Focus, while Mohamad Suhail is a former employee.
A senior officer investigating the case has claimed that “while it is true that Sharma did send the link to his girlfriend, it is one of the angles we are probing. He sent the links to others accused as well... investigation is still in progress. However, so far, it appears that they had leaked it for self-consumption. We are now trying to find out who uploaded it online.”
