CPM, UPA, 2G & NREGA: My Twitter Debate With Rajeev Chandrashekhar

A story about Brinda Karat turned into a Twitter debate between MP Rajeev Chandrashekhar and our reporter.

This morning, The Quint published a story on CPI(M) Politburo member Brinda Karat’s trouble with her translator during an election rally in Kerala and a personal attack on Sonia Gandhi.

The article was retweeted by Rajya Sabha MP and businessman Rajeev Chandrashekhar and I had an exchange with him on Twitter centred around my piece. The views expressed here are therefore, my personal opinion.

From here on, the debate became about many things including corruption in the UPA government, the 2G scam and policies like the MNREGA.
