The victim, Nishtha Gautam, Senior Editor (Features), was earlier told that her insipid nail varnish was not in sync with the ‘neon’ outlook of the team. She was then gifted a “Welcome Makeover,” which was also a trust-building exercise. After all, she had to go to the nail salon and sit through the process blind-folded.
Reluctant to admit her fondness for India-Pakistan cricket matches, Gautam kept talking about the upcoming Champion’s Trophy nonchalantly. Little did she realise that instead of a plain-Jane manicure, she was getting an in-your-face CRICKET-themed nail art.
Once the blind-fold came off, Gautam had no choice but to embrace her cricket-crazy self that she keeps carefully concealed!
