Just days before the release of his best known film Enter The Dragon – 44 years ago – Bruce Lee passed away, leaving behind a legacy of action and comedy (a rare combination in filmdom).
He was just 32, but had done enough to become a martial arts legend. The guy who first made Kung Fu films popular across the world – way before the likes of Jackie Chan and Jet Li – remains an unforgettable icon.
On his birth anniversary, we at The Quint decided to move away from the conventional – discussions about how he beat the living daylights out of Chris Norris on screen – and focus instead on how he Inadvertant-Lee provided much comic relief to us all in India, over the years.
