The Internet, as usual, was negative today.

Why?

Suhana Khan is on the August cover of Vogue India and a few people are losing their sleep over it, citing nepotism and what not. Must they be so bitter about it?

Star Kids Will Become Stars, Deal with It

To those flipping out at Vogue calling Suhana a ‘future star’ and citing examples of hardworking strugglers not getting the same opportunity, please wake the f*ck up.

Ask yourself, when was the last time a struggler was EVER featured on the magazine’s cover?

Achievement = Genes. Duh!

What has she achieved, you ask? The fact that she is Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter is an achievement in itself. Truth be told her cover debut is 18 years too late. She had it in her the moment she received King Khan’s genes.

Who Else, If Not a Star Kid?

Student Life Is Hard

Imagine the stress that comes with sharing space with other rich star kids!

Suhana Has Guts

Did you really think being a star kid was easy? It comes with its own issues.

Imagine living under the constant shadow of an overachieving father! It takes a LOT of courage to enter the same industry that your father has aced.

Can we, at least, appreciate the fact she overcame this major hurdle and dared to pose for the cover of a magazine, knowing that the feedback could be harsh?

You aren’t as privileged. Too bad.
