A number of stars went to attend the most awaited match of ICC World Cup, 2019 between India and Pakistan.
Ranveer Singh, who will be playing the role of Kapil Dev in his upcoming movie ‘83’, was also present there. He never left a chance to entertain the audience as well as the cricketers. He was found in the commentary box as well as on the field enjoying the match.
His love for the game as well as the players was clearly shown in the spree of photographs that he posted on Instagram even after the match was long over. Among all the photos, the post for Indian captain Virat Kohli was heart melting.
Ranveer Singh shared two pictures tagging Virat Kohli with a heart warming caption. In the first one they both are smiling at each other after the win and were found hugging in the second picture.
The caption read that, “I’ve been a die-hard fan of Indian cricket since childhood. Invested so much emotion into our beloved team. Willing and wanting them to be the undisputed best in the world. And then, there was VIRAT KOHLI. Ive witnessed a brash boy evolve into the very embodiment of class. Displaying a rare brand of ferocity and passionate expression, he changed the face of Indian cricket forever. He’s well on his way to being hailed as the greatest of all time. He also shared pictures with cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, Saurav Ganguly, Virendra Sehwag, Harbajan Singh who have had their charm and also with present time cricketers KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya and Shikhar Dhawan.
Ranveer Singh is definitely not over with the amazing performance of Team India and shared a video of him cheering at the time of match.
The upcoming movie ‘83’ based on the victory of Team India in World Cup, 1983 starring Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev and deepika Padukon as his wife will release on 10 April, 2020.
