The Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is probably the most talked about event of the entire year. As the couple ties the knot on 19 May, here’s a quick preview to how the celebrations will unfold.

The wedding will take place at 11am GMT (4:30pm IST) at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, which is unlike many Royal Weddings in the past which usually take place at Westminster Abbey in London. Viewers in India can catch its telecast on Colors Infinity.

The guest list for Meghan and Prince Harry’s wedding will also be significantly different from that of Prince William and Kate’s, as more celebrities and less number of dignitaries will attend the event.

Both Meghan and Prince Harry will follow the longstanding unspoken tradition of the bride wearing a British designer label and the Prince wearing his military uniform at the wedding. Meghan has chosen designer duo Ralph and Russo for her big day.

When it comes to the British line of succession to the throne, the crown could not be further away for both Prince Harry and his offsprings. The children of the Prince will fall further behind in the line from their father who himself is at number 6.

While the life of a Royal has its own benefits, it is also marked with a lot of rules and strict protocols. Soon to be princess, Meghan had to delete all her social media accounts and quit her acting career in order to be a part of the British Royal family. It doesn’t end here, life after marriage for the former ‘Suits’ actress will also be drastically different, this includes building a significantly less public persona and hugely limiting her media presence.

Nevertheless, it goes without saying that the soon to be weds have all the blessing in the world with them and we are sure that their life as a couple will be nothing short of spectacular. Here’s to #Me-Rry (Meghan and Harry). Follow The Quint for regular updates on the Royal Wedding.
