Mandaviya, 47, has become a minister in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government for a second time.

When he was asked by a reporter whether he would go to the oath-taking ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on a cycle, Mandaviya had replied that he has always cycled to the Parliament, and that for him it’s a passion, not fashion.

The Green MP then further went to explain the benefits of cycling.

It is eco-friendly, it saves fuel and keeps you physically healthy.

The MP’s on-point environment game is winning him lots of praise on Twitter.

But it wasn’t all positive. He also got some valid criticism.

Mansukh L Mandaviya was earlier the Minister of State in charge of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Ministry of Shipping and Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
