Kyunki Yeh Bhi Ab Politics Hai Ft. General Elections 2019

1. When Congress Spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi Broke Into an Ekta KapoorJingleCongress took another jab at Smriti Irani’s “badalte hue” (changing) degrees as spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi parodied the theme song of Smriti’s popular show- Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.Priyanka thought a fitting reply to Smriti’s changing statements on her educational qualifications would be to use the song that made Smriti famous by naming it – “Kyunki Mantri Bhi Kabhi Graduate Thi”!In 2015, Smriti said that she’s got a degree from Yale University at an India Today conclave.WOW. From Yale to no-college-trail, that was...er...quick.“Qualifications ke bhi roop badalte hai, naye naye sanchay mein dhalte hai. Ek degree aati hai, ek degree jaati hai... bantey affidavit naye hai. (Qualifications change form, they come in new moulds. One degree comes, one degree goes, affidavits keep changing.)Priyanka Chaturvedi at Congress press conference as reported by News 182. When BJP Candidate Mahaswami Claimed He Was GodEver met a real-life Ganesh Gaitonde ever? You can now! BJP’s Solapur candidate might as well have just said “Apun hi bhawgaan hai”. “Don’t go away on voting day considering the long weekend. Even if you decide to go to Pandharpur to seek blessings of God, you are unlikely to get blessings as I’m your God who can speak.” Siddheshwar Shivacharaya Mahaswami, a seer at a shrine near Akkalkot, at an election rally as reported by News 18Looks like for Mahaswami, who's also a prominent spiritual leader of Veershaiva Lingayat Jangam, only an “act of God” can swing the votes in his favour! Khushbu Turns Around And Slaps A Man Who Misbehaves At Rally3. When Minister MTB Nagraj Did The Naagin DanceIn this country, no occasion is complete without the ever famous naagin dance even an election rally! That’s right, my friends. If you didn't catch this, let us tell you about the time when Karnataka Housing Minister MTB Nagraj swayed to “Man Dole Mera Tan Dole” for 10 minutes STRAIGHT. Talk about commitment!Nagraj did not shy away from dancing like a “Nagin”as his supporters cheered him, as seen in a ANI video. Also, FYI – he’s 67. Age is clearly just a number when it comes to this minister right here!4. When Hema Malini Decided to Address the ‘Monkey’ Business, Once and For AllFor those wondering if Hema was talking about political issues bothering the nation, sorry to disappoint you, this monkey business is literally to do with... monkeys. HA!Addressing the issues of the monkey menace in Mathura, BJP MP Hema Malini responded by calling out visitors who ‘spoil’ them by feeding the monkeys ‘samosas and Frooti’.Suggesting an elegant solution, Hema says “feed them only fruits”! Clearly fruits aren't as enticing as samosas. Problem solved! Now, we might not know who’s winning the votes but what we do know is that this election season will be more entertaining than the show you’re currently streaming without the risk of spoilers. There’s drama, comedy and even tragedy Kyunki Yeh Sabh Bhi Ab Politics Hai!(With inputs from News 18, NDTV, Twitter and ANI)
