Chaos Surrounding Padmavati Reaches ‘Swargwasi’ Bollywood Celebs

What has jinxed Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Padmavati that the anger and controversy surrounding it just refuses to die down? The chaos that ensued on Earth has reached Bollywood stars in heaven. They too have a lot to say about the issue.

Mughal-e-Azam’s Akbar (Prithviraj Kapoor) asks Shekhu about what has been going on. Perhaps the nation has come under someone’s evil eye, he says.

Here’s a fun video where the ‘swargwasi’ Bollywood celebs hold a ‘Chai Pe Charcha’ on Padmavati.

Whereas Sholay’s Thakur (Sanjeev Kumar) thinks that those who are opposing the film are making a mountain out of a molehill, Dadamoni Ashok Kumar is depressed hearing of the pandemonium around Padmavati. He believes that whatever is happening is not at all right.

On the other hand, Utpal Dutt thinks that by making Padmavati, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has got himself in a tight spot. In Dutt’s times, he says, people used to appreciate art and artists, but today some people are a little too sensitive and don’t let films be released if they don’t like it.

In a similar vein, Raaj Kumar, Om Prakash, and famous villains Ajit and Jeevan along with comedian Keshto Mukherjee are also pitching in with their expert opinions on the Padmavati controversy.

These many ‘swargwasi’ Bollywood celebs have only one wish: the speedy release of Bhansali’s Padmavati.
