Heavy rains continued to lash several parts of Mumbai over Monday and Tuesday, causing flooding and waterlogging in several parts of the city. According to reports, in just 9 hours, South Mumbai had recorded its highest rainfall in 2017 on Monday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has already said that Mumbai will receive heavy to extremely heavy rain until Wednesday – which could be up to 200 mm of rainfall.
But on a more interesting note, rainfall also entered Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupati’s house, and literally ‘wrecked havoc’ in Bhupati’s Lawn Tennis history.
