Are you one of those guys on Tinder who keep complaining that women get easy matches on dating apps? One thing that you’re probably not getting right is the picture you choose for your Tinder profile. Here are the kinds of pictures you can avoid while on dating apps.
Pictures With Other Women
When you put up a picture with a person of the opposite sex, it’s like you’re trying to say, “Hey, I am approved, I have been in company of other women who don’t find me creepy.” It’s like you’re saying you have references.
Pictures with an ex? If you're an airline company, only then you’re allowed to talk about your baggage situation, guys.
Pictures With Pets
Honestly, if I want to look at cute dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs… I’ll go on Instagram and follow those accounts. I really don’t think a cute doggo can get you more matches. Please come back from 2015.
Only Party Pictures
The first thought one gets when a guy has only party pictures is… what else? We want to know more than just partying. Party is like potato. It can fit anywhere. So multiple party pictures add very little or nothing. At most, a party picture could tell us that you’re an outgoing person, who mixes well… what apart from that though?
Half-Naked Gym Selfies
Working out is great. But let me tell you, you might think a gym selfie will work in most cases but most women find it quite shallow. Confused? That’s exactly how we feel when we see a shirtless boy!
Group Pictures
Believe it or not, we are not looking to date a whole cricket team all at once. You have friends? GREAT. But how am I supposed to tell which one is you? Imagine this: One picture with five men posing with beer mugs, another one from a party, another one a beautiful scenery of snow-capped mountains and a stick figure with sunglasses in the middle. How will this ever work?
