The ‘Avengers’ fandom definitely cuts across generations. The franchise’s recent offering, Spiderman: Far From Home got us thinking that maybe, kids now know more about Avengers than the oldies.
The recently released Avengers: Endgame performed fantastically on the box office.
The $1.2 billion opening also made Avengers: Endgame the 17th- or the 18th-highest grossing movie in cinema history. Numbers show what the sentiment on the ground really was.
The movie-goers were also gushing over Chris Hemsworth, who had transformed into Bro Thor also known as Fat Thor. Apart from some minor criticism surrounding body-shaming, Hemsworth received applause for turning fit to fat.
Hemsworth, in a recent interview, revealed how it was like to play an unfit superhero, while he added that he now understood how his wife felt like while she was pregnant.
“A very strange day at work, yeah. It weighed around 40kg so it was very heavy. It’s a silicon sort of prosthetic suit with a zip at the back, and at any moment people would come up and rub my stomach. I know how my wife feels now when she was pregnant!”Chris Hemsworth to PinkVilla
