The weekend is here, and Avenger: Endgame is already there. But it’s a new day, and so a new movie has hit the screens. Blank, starring Sunny Deol, debutant Karan Kapadia and Ishita Dutta, is this week’s latest release.

The movie revolves around ATS chief Diwan, played by Sunny Deol, and terror-accused Hanif, who, with an HMX-laden bomb attached to his chest, is on the loose in Mumbai. Diwan and his team try every means possible to catch hold of Hanif and bust the whole network of terror. Interesting? Not really.

The movie loses pace even before it nears the interval. It’s enjoyable for viewers who are there to watch Sunny Deol flex his ‘dhai kilo ka haath’. As for regular movie goers, the story would appear to lack lustre. Karan Kapadia, though looks diligent with his performance, fails to make a mark. Some of his on-screen actions and emotions looked really forced. Ishita Dutta (who also starred in Firangi opposite Kapil Sharma) looks as clueless and low on energy as her team mates in the force.

The edit is sloppy, with some visible jump cuts through out the movie. All in all, this movie is not even a one-time watch. Probably can be given a shot later on Netflix, Prime or Hotstar.

Review sounds too honest? Well, this is not even the half of it. Save yourself some precious hours and watch the whole movie (or the summary) in two minutes. No spoilers guaranteed. More so, because the whole storyline is that predictable. So, put on your earphones and enjoy the two-minute honest movie review of Blank.
