Did you know about 9/11? Do you have four wives? Do you always eat non-veg? You guys don’t even drink water during your fast right? Do you support triple talaq? There are two eids in a year right?

Have you ever said these things to a Muslim? I’m sure you have and just like every other Non-Muslim, you may be interested in understanding and discovering new facets about the religion. As a Muslim I would love to help you out but would you please steer clear of the stereotypes? There is a list of things which every Muslim is tired of hearing and this video just recounts a few of them.

A very common example would be only expecting Biryani at a Muslim friend’s party. Biryani kaha hai? Acha toh Biryani lao? Can you imagine going to a Muslim’s house for a meal and all they serve you is vegetarian food? Despite Biryani being a dish to die for, it’s clearly something Muslims are tired of being solely associated with.

What’s your take on terrorism? Seriously? You really expect me to have different take, I was, I am and I will always be against it? It’s non-contentious.

Is drinking your personal choice or a religious one? My reason can be anything. No is a No. There are many other things that Muslims are tired of hearing, of which you can get a glimpse in the video featuring Tapsee Pannu and Prateik Babbar.

The duo is going to be seen in Mulk which also stars Rishi Kapoor. The movie is set to release on 3 August and revolves around the struggles of a Muslim joint family from a small town in India, who fight to reclaim their honour after a member of their family takes to terrorism.
