Do you know a young woman who will vote for the first time in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections? Is she in the 18-24 age group? Has she done something out of the ordinary? Then tell us about her! As part of The Quint’s ‘Me, The Change’ campaign, we are looking for young women achievers.
Ananya Chaturvedi is a 21-year-old journalism student. But that’s not all she is. Ananya wanted to do something for the society. A passionate dancer, Ananya hit on the idea of teaching dance to underprivileged children. Having begun her journey with two young girls a year ago, Ananya now teaches dance to 36 children – both boys and girls. She has even begun her own dance school, called ‘Nrityam’!
Ananya wants the government to ensure education for underprivileged children, in a bid to see them empowered and enabled so that they too can live good lives.
