Finally, We May Have a National Programme to Tackle Air Pollution

The objective of NCAP is to augment & evolve an effective ambient air quality monitoring network across the country.

After months of getting smothered in smog, is there relief in site? The central government has formulated a national clear air programme to tackle increasing air pollution across the country in a comprehensive manner, Parliament was informed on December 18.

Environment Minister Harsh Vardhan in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha said that the Centre is looking at long term solutions to pollution.
