The Claim
The Gujarat Health Department has claimed that the use of Ayurvedic medicines, ‘kadha’ (a concoction of various Ayurvedic herbs) and homeopathic pills and drinks (ukala) helped prevent over 6,000 quarantined people from contracting COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
