My idea is about noise pollution in Mumbai caused by vehicles and the particular vehicle I’m talking about is the autorickshaw. These vehicles produce very high levels of sound pollution and I always wish I could do something to reduce or stop this noise. I have often wondered if designers who make engines of autorickshaws can come up with a design similar to that of car engines in terms of their silencers, if not speed, reducing the sounds produced by these vehicles .
Maybe automobile engineers can come up with ideas to stop the sounds produced by these vehicles which would drastically reduce the sound decibels in the city.
