The trailer of OK Jaanu, the Bollywood remake of Mani Ratnam’s romantic drama OK Kanmani, is out. Starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead, OK Jaanu features the original film’s foot-tapping soundtrack by AR Rahman with lyrics by Gulzar for the remake.
The Tamil original featured Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen along with Prakash Raj and Leela Samson in important parts. While Aditya and Shraddha play the romantic live-in couple in the new version, Leela Samson has been retained for the same role, while Naseeruddin Shah has stepped into Prakash Raj’s shoes.
OK Jaanu revolves around a commitment free live-in couple who prioritise their career over their relationship, till of course ‘love’ happens - no prizes for guessing what happens in the end though.
