What's with this mooh bola bhai/behen syndrome that plagues our society? Can't a ladka and a ladki just be friends? Behen hogi Teri takes up the cause of these innocent men constantly living with the fear of being bhai-zoned!

Interesting premise right? Spearheaded by the always delightful Rajkumar Rao, it rightfully piques our curiosity. It's tragic therefore that the film never capitalises on its strengths. The shoddy writing and bad characterisation sometimes manage to tickle us and there are probably some laughs in there but overall it's pretty flat.

An otherwise straightforward and smart girl Binni played by Shruti Haasan chooses to remain quiet while all and sundry decide who she should marry. A tussle then ensues between her “brothers” and those who aren’t.

Rajkumar Rao as the friendly neighbourhood lover Gattu is actually pitch perfect and is the sole reason we don't get turned off looking at the proceedings.

Special mention for Herry Tangri (who played Yuvraj Singh in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story) for giving us some more reasons to cheer. He has the best lines and does full justice to them. But as for the rest of the ensemble cast which includes veterans like Ranjeet and Gulshan Grover, there just isn't much scope.
