Agar hum sach ke saath hain, toh humein jeetne tak haar nahin maanni chahiye. That’s Sunny Deol’s comeback dialogue in Dharmendra’s production Ghayal Once Again.
Ghayal Once Again brings the angry, but not so young Sunny Deol back into our lives. The film’s trailer was recently released and you can watch it here to compare the sequel with its 1990 original.
There are a few things that the trailer doesn’t quite reveal as well as we had hoped it would. For one, how much does Sunny Deol’s hand weigh now? Even though the dhai kilo ka haath dialouge was from Damini (1993), Sunny Deol owns it like nothing else. Also, what’s his grouse with the Balwant Rai equivalent this time? More importantly, who convinced Sunny Deol to write and direct this film? And lastly, are there any dance numbers in the film to remind us of how much we really miss Sunny paji’s stomping?
Well, I guess we’ll have to watch the film on January 15th, 2016 for the real deal.
