The much-awaited trailer of the extravagant period drama Kalank is finally out. And it’s as grand as we imagined it to be. Set in pre-Independence India, the film is described as “a story of turbulent relationships and eternal love” by Karan Johar himself.

2. Karan Johar Takes a Dig at Kangana, Says She Loves Nepotism

Who would have thought that when Kangana decided to drop the ‘nepotism’ bomb on the Koffee with Karan couch, her words would snowball into a much bigger, never-ending debate. Recently, during an interaction with YouTube star Bhuvan Bam during the YouTube Fan Fest, the director took a dig at Kangana.

During the interaction, Karan was asked why he loved the topic of nepotism so much. To this, he responded by saying that he didn’t love the topic so much, however, someone else did.

3. Blackbuck Poaching Case: Salman’s Appeal to be Heard on 3 April

Salman Khan’s appeal against the verdict of the Rajasthan High Court in the blackbuck poaching case is to be held in Jodhpur on 3 April.

The actor was convicted by the court last year for killing two blackbucks in Kankani village near Jodhpur in October 1998 while filming Hum Saath Saath Hai. Salman was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment and fined Rs 10,000. He spent two nights in Jodhpur Central Jail before being released on bail. The co-accused in the case, actors Saif Ali Khan, Tabu and Sonali Bendre were acquitted.

4. Kangana Ranaut Exits Anurag Basu’s ‘Imali’ to Focus on Directing

Actor Kangana Ranaut has opted out of filmmaker Anurag Basu's next Imali as she wants to focus more on her directorial venture. The project, which will also feature Rajkummar Rao, would have marked her third collaboration with Basu after her debut Gangster and Life in a Metro.

The actor said Imali was supposed to go on floors in November 2018 but she had to direct and reshoot Manikarnika, so the film was pushed.
