While Deepika Padukone’s multiple wedding and reception ceremonies were all everyone could talk about last year, she also managed to play the part of the supportive bridesmaid when close friend Srila Rao got married in December.
When Deepika and hubby Ranveer Singh jetted off to Sri Lanka at the tail end of last year, most people assumed it was for their honeymoon as the couple hadn’t taken a breather since their November wedding. However, now the cat’s out of the bag that the newlyweds were attending another destination wedding.
Deepika’s fashion designer of choice Sabyasachi Mukherjee shared the first pictures from Srila’s wedding since he was responsible for dressing the bride in this case as well.
The wedding took place at a private beach in Villa Bentota.
Deepika was the perfect bridesmaid.
Deepika did everything from helping the bride get ready to give her pep talks.
