Dad Is Doing Better, Says Vinod Khanna’s Son Akshaye

Vinod Khanna is recovering well in hospital.

According to a report on an online portal, Akshaye Khanna, elder son of veteran actor Vinod Khanna has said that his dad is recovering. There were several rumours doing the rounds after a picture of Vinod Khanna looking extremely frail in hospital got leaked online. The actor-politician was admitted to Mumbai’s Sir HN Reliance Foundation hospital for severe dehydration on March 31.

There were intially reports that Khanna is suffering from cancer of the bladder, however, the hospital authorities have clarified that the actor had acute dehydration. A report on Spotboye says that Akshaye has texted them saying, “Dad is doing better”.

On Sunday, the hospital had also announced that Vinod Khanna’s health is better and that the actor is recovering.

Lata Mangeshkar had tweeted on Saturday, wishing Vinod Khanna a speedy recovery.

Vinod Khanna last made an appearance on screen in Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale in 2015.
