1. SRK Acquires Remake Rights of Kamal Hasaan’s ‘Hey Ram’
The two Indian cinema stars that were prominently seen with Nolan during his India visit to advocate the use of celluloid for film-making in the digital age, were Shah Rukh Khan and Kamal Hasaan. Khan and Hasaan met during one of the events then and took a trip down memory lane. As per a Mumbai Mirror report, Kamal Hasaan has confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan has bagged the remake of rights of Hey Ram written, directed and produced by Kamal Haasan.
“Shah Rukh only got a wristwatch for acting in my film at the time because by the end of it, I had nothing left in hand. Now, he is the brand ambassador for a watch brand. I am glad that he got the Hindi rights of Hey Ram from Bharat bhai (co-producer Bharat Shah). He should have some memory of the film as he gave his friendship and service for it.”Haasan told Mumbai Mirror

2. Deepika & Ranbir Reunite For Manish Malhotra’s Fashion Show
NGO Mijwan Welfare Society spearheaded by Shabana Azmi funds the education and welfare of the inhabitants of the ancestral village of legendary poet Kaifi Azmi - Mijwan. Manish Malhotra has been associated with this initiative since almost a decade. Many Bollywood A-listers have been known to walk the ramp for the event in the past.
As he continues his affiliation with the NGO, Malhotra posted a collage of Ranbir and Deepika donning his sartorial creations. He took to social media to announce the collaboration. The former couple will stride across the ramp at The Walk Of Mijwan Fashion Show on 9 April.

3. ‘Parmanu’ Fallout: FIR Filed Against John Abraham by KriArj
In a rapidly developing case involving a ferocious ownership tussle between actor-producer John Abraham and Prernaa Arora of KriArj Entertainment over the film Parmanu, Prernaa has now filed an First Information Report (FIR) against John and his production company.
The FIR has been registered by Khar police station in Mumbai against John Abraham and his company JA Ent after a criminal complaint was filed by KriArj Entertainment for the commission of various criminal offences including cheating, breach of trust, fraud, misappropriation of funds and copyright infringement. Prernaa has alleged that John and his company has duped KriArj Entertainment out of the crores of rupees invested by KriArj Entertainment towards the production of the film Parmanu.

Actor Kartik Aaryan is flying high on the success of his last release Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, which is the biggest hit of 2018 yet. Karan Johar has never directed Deepika Padukone . . . not yet. For an advertising venture, Dharma 2.0 (a sub-section of Karan Johar's Dharma Productions that focusses primarily on advertisements) roped in Padmaavat actor Deepika Padukone for an untitled advertising project, and it is none other than filmmaker Karan Johar who is directing her. It is also the first time that Karan Johar will be directing an advertisement.
