On Monday, European artist accused the makers of Judgementall Hai Kya for plagiarising her work without her permission. The photographer took to Facebook to share a collage of her original photograph alongside one of Judgementall Hai Kya’s posters featuring Kangana Ranaut. The two photos are almost identical.

Flóra Borsi wrote, “Any similarities? It’s a famous Bollywood movie poster called Judgementall Hai Kya. They didn’t ask for any permission nor reached me out. It’s a shame for big companies plagiarising freelance artists work..”

Bollywood actor Govinda recently appeared on the television show Aap Ki Adalat and started listing out Bollywood films like Gadar and Chandni that he had chosen not to do. He then revealed that the list wasn’t just limited to Bollywood and that the Coolie No. 1 actor was offered the Hollywood film Avatar.

“I suggested the title ‘Avatar’ for the film,” said Govinda when Rajat Sharma asked him about a big Hollywood film opportunity that he got. He also said that he was not comfortable with his body being painted all over.

3. Sunil Gavaskar Visits Ranveer Singh & Team ‘83’

Former Indian cricket team captain Sunil Gavaskar paid a visit to the team of Kabir Khan’s upcoming sports biopic 83 in England. The film is a retelling of the Indian team’s victory at the 1983 Cricket World Cup. It stars Ranveer Singh in the role of then team captain Kapil Dev along with an ensemble cast.

Director Kabir Khan shared a photo of the veteran cricket superstar with the film’s crew on his Instagram Monday 30 July with the caption, “The little master came to see us play cricket in England @ranveersingh @tahirrajbhasin@minimathur @83thefilm #Thisis83 #behindthescenes” Sunil is affectionately know as the Little Master. In the photo he is seen posing with Kabir, Ranveer, Kabir’s wife and actor Mini Mathur, and Tahir Raj Bhasin who plays Sunil in the film.

4. Shabana Azmi Joins Swara Bhasker, Divya Dutta in ‘Sheer Qorma’

Veteran actor Shabana Azmi is the latest addition to the cast of Faraz Arif Ansari's upcoming LGBTQ drama Sheer Qorma. The movie stars Swara Bhasker and Divya Dutta as lovers in the lead roles.

According to a press release issued by the makers, the film is a "heart-rending narrative of the longing for love and acceptance, felt by queer children in their parental homes that plays out through delicate story-telling, told through characters of courageous queer women of colour."

Shabana reportedly plays Divya’s mother in the film.

5. Singer Guru Randhawa Allegedly Attacked in Vancouver

According to reports, Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa was attacked by an unknown assailant after a concert in Vancouver, Canada on Sunday 28 July. Guru was hit on the head from behind while leaving the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver after a performance there. Guru survived the assault and is said to be out of danger.

As per statements of those who attended the concert, the assaulter was behaving badly during the performance and followed Guru outside afterwards. Police and paramedics arrived at the spot immediately but it is unconfirmed whether the attacker was apprehended.
