1. I Take Full Responsibility: Aamir on ‘Thugs’ Box Office Debacle
Its 300-crore budget and star cast, which included Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan together on screen for the first time, couldn’t save Thugs of Hindostan from tanking at the box office. After raking in Rs 52 crore on the first day, the film saw a sharp decline in collection.
Aamir Khan spoke up about the debacle at a recent event saying, “I take full responsibility for Thugs not working with the audience. I think we went wrong. But I would like to take full responsibility for that. We certainly tried our best. We didn’t leave any stone unturned in our efforts. But somewhere, we went wrong.”

3. SRK Recreates Iconic ‘Sattar Minute’ Dialogue from ‘Chak De!’
The Hockey World Cup kicked off on 27 November with a grand opening event at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Shah Rukh Khan joined the Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik at the opening ceremony and shook hands with the captains of the various participating teams. During his speech, he recreated the lines from his iconic ‘sattar minute’ dialogue from 2007 film Chak De! India, in which he played Kabir Khan, a former hockey captain who coaches the Indian national women’s hockey team to victory.
The ceremony also featured performances by Madhuri Dixit and AR Rahman, who has also composed the official anthem of the Hockey World Cup 2018.

4. Riddhima Kapoor Apologises After Accusations of Plagiarism
Ranbir Kapoor’s elder sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, who operates her own festive jewellery label, R Jewellery, has issued an apology for allegedly plagiarising the design of a pair of earrings from legendary Japanese designer Kokichi Mikimoto.
Riddhima had shared the now-deleted picture of a pair of pearl earrings on her Instagram, soon after which the post came to the attention of DietSabya, an account that points out imitations and plagiarism in Indian fashion.

5. Veteran Singer Mohammad Aziz Passes at 64
Veteran singer Mohammed Aziz has passed away from cardiac arrest at Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital on 27 November, news agency ANI has reported. He was 64.
The singer was on his way back to Mumbai from Kolkata when he suffered a heart attack. He was rushed to Nanavati Hospital where he was declared dead.
With more than 20,000 songs in his kitty, he is known for famous Bollywood numbers like 'My Name is Lakhan', ‘Mard Taangewala' and more.
