SRK Recreates Iconic ‘Sattar Minute’ Dialogue from ‘Chak De!’

The actor was part of the Hockey World Cup 2018 opening ceremony.

The Hockey World Cup kicked off on 27 November with a grand opening event at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Shah Rukh Khan joined the Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik at the opening ceremony and shook hands with the captains of the various participating teams. During his speech, he recreated the lines from his iconic ‘sattar minute’ dialogue from 2007 film Chak De! India, in which he played Kabir Khan, a former hockey captain who coaches the Indian national women’s hockey team to victory.

The ceremony also featured performances by Madhuri Dixit and AR Rahman, who has also composed the official anthem of the Hockey World Cup 2018. Check out pictures from the event here:
