Batti Gul Meter Chalu, which was scheduled to release on 14 September, will now release on 21 September. Starring Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam, the film is a social comedy-drama, with a satirical take on India’s power-cuts and faulty billing systems.

The film is directed by Shree Narayan Singh, who helmed the Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.
