Congress Emerges Victorious in Punjab With 77 Seats

The Congress is all set to form the government in Punjab, after having bagged 77 of the 117 seats in the state. The SAD-BJP combine won 18 seats, while the AAP won 22.

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi thanked the people of Punjab for their support. On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Amarinder Singh on his victory.
