The five southern states held elections in a total of 128 of the 542 Lok Sabha constituencies – 38 in Tamil Nadu (plus, 1 in Puducherry), 17 in Telangana, 25 in Andhra Pradesh, 28 in Karnataka, and 20 in Kerala.
