Fatima Khan

Fatima Khan is a New York-based journalist currently pursuing a Master’s in Political Journalism at Columbia Journalism School. With over six years of experience as a roving reporter in India, She has covered national politics, hate crimes, gender, and social justice with a sharp investigative lens. A recipient of multiple prestigious awards, including the 2024 Young Journalist of the Year (HRRF) and the 2022 IPI Award for groundbreaking COVID coverage, She has also authored an in-depth chapter on the Delhi riots and UP anti-CAA violence for a book led by USIPI. A South Asia Speaks Fellow (2023) and an Inlaks Shivdasani Scholar, She brings a deep commitment to human rights journalism and impactful storytelling.
