Donald Trump loves himself some sycophancy. The President-elect may have found himself a mortal enemy in Saturday Night Live, which can’t seem to get enough of running sketches on him.

Alec Baldwin ticks all the right boxes with his impression of Donald Trump. However, the President-elect may beg to differ, considering the fact that SNL viewers seem to enjoy watching Baldwin making a mockery of him.

Despite badmouthing the show, it appears as though Trump cannot stop watching SNL and defending himself.

He may have refused to attend more than two intelligence briefings, but when it comes to fending off criticism, Trump is always active.

In an interview with Today, Trump slammed SNL, saying that the “terrible show” would not last long.

I hosted SNL when it was a good show, it’s not a good show anymore. I like Alec but his imitation of me is really mean-spirited and not very good and I like him as an actor, but I don’t think that his imitation of me gets me at all. Frankly, the way the show is going and you look at the kind of work they are doing who knows how long that show is going to be on air. It’s a terrible show.

When asked about his excessive use of Twitter, Trump said that the microblogging platform helped him express himself louder than the dishonest reporting on him.
