Norway has been the world’s best democracy for the sixth year in a row, while USA has been downgraded to the 21st spot.
The Trump presidency owes to the drastic change in USA’s temperament. Norwegians believe that somebody like Trump would never be elected into presidency in their country, which has more cooperative politics than confrontational politics.
Although Norway has a smaller population of only five million people and hasn’t seen an influx of migrants, it too had faced an attack by white supremacists in 2011 that left 77 people dead.
