Dear India,

Why this dialectic? Why this chauvinism? Why this constant need to assert nationalism through this commemoration of fetishism?

Do you feel ashamed of your present that harking back to a mythical golden past has not only become your defensive mechanism, but it has also become an assertion of identity, an identity you want to defend violently. If you have to choose between culture and humanity, morality and freedom, traditions and rationalism, what will you choose?

Let's not make this world a battleground of ideologies, dear India.
