With Darjeeling going to vote on 17 April, The Quint spoke to the women voters of the hills to understand their expectations from the new government.

The women highlighted niggling civic issues such as lack of proper parking, waste disposal, infrastructure and hospitals in Darjeeling.

Many women voters also expressed their desire for a separate state of their own – Gorkhaland.
